Prerequisites

The learner must have already taken the course "Initiation to Literary Texts" in first year License, i.e. to carry out this course the learner must know/be able to:

• Grasp the linguistic meaning of a text in the language of study; English.
• Extract the main idea/theme of a literary text.
• The main genres of literature in a nutshell.
• The widely used terminology of analysis specific to each of the three genres: poetry, drama, and prose.
• The forms of literary language that differentiate literature from other forms of writing.
