Chapter III- Procaryotic Cell-2025_2026. English
Conditions d’achèvement
Descrition: Prokaryotic cells are cells that lack a true nucleus; their genetic material (DNA) is not enclosed within a nucleus but is found freely in the cytoplasm, in a region called the nucleoid. Prokaryotic cells represent the oldest, simplest, and smallest forms of life. They consist mainly of bacteria and archaea. They do not possess mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, or a Golgi apparatus. All cellular processes occur in the cytoplasm or at the plasma membrane. They are extremely efficient and capable of living in almost all environments on the planet.
