This course will guide students through the principles and practices of academic referencing, teaching them how to properly cite sources and compile bibliographies using various referencing styles (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.). It will cover the significance of referencing, the mechanics of different citation formats, and tools that can simplify the process. Students will also learn how to avoid plagiarism by properly crediting their sources.
